A club spawned from two small non-league clubs in the 90s and pushed through the non-league tiers quickly and actually made it to League One before it all unraveled.
But why do they not often get mentioned when discussing clubs who went bust? Is it because their history is limited? Is there something in our psyche because they were a 'new' club?
There's discussion on external envy to those who have the ability to spend more than others, the miracle of clubs surviving through covid and what the current phoenix club is not likely to be as successful as others who have taken a similar path?
