A very different type of Quiz as Suj, Clayton and James combine as a team to try and solve a puzzle submitted by Patreon Sam Brennan.

(yes James also has to face the music having been on the wrong side of the result in the North London Derby!)

Managers + Clubs Puzzle Aim: To get as long a chain as possible using the following 20 managers and the following 20 clubs only You have to alternate, e.g. Manager – Club – Manager – Club and so on, and each manager must have managed each club they are next to. (so you'll put a manager between 2 of the clubs they have managed)

Rules: 1. You can only use each manager once, you can only use each club once. 2. The manager must have been the manager at the club at some point, but it could be when the club was not a premier league club. 3. The quiz is written so that you can get a full loop where it goes manager – club 20 times and the final club was managed by the first manager on your list, which means you can start with any manager or club you like.

Hints 4. Since some managers have managed more than 2 clubs, it's important to decide which clubs you want to have them next to, best to start with the managers who've only managed 2. 5. I made this before Graham Potter joined West Ham, so you don't need to use that connection (though you can)

Scoring You score the length of your longest valid chain. e.g if you had a valid chain of Manager – Club – Manager – Club – Manger you'd score 5 points. Score a bonus 10 points if you get a complete chain which loops around The maximum score is 50.
