🌍📝 David Hunter Joins Planet FPL!

We are delighted to announce that we have signed Patreon David Hunter on a free transfer!

You may already recognise David, who has been a guest on a number of Patreon Podcasts and also on The Transfer Window Show. You may also know him for his takes on Liverpool and for his wit on Slack.

His FPL history is nothing to write home about so he'll fit right in with the rest of us!

Once I was back from holiday, Suj made it clear he felt we should look for a new permanent member for the team, due to our own commitments/challenges, and uncertainty around Clayton's availability moving forward.

I'd already approached David. I knew in the middle of The Transfer Window Show we recorded together that I wanted him on board.

A follow up Zoom Call took place during Correspondents Week (yes really!) and David agreed to my vision of where I see him fitting in.

To begin, David will have a regular slot with myself on a new Podcast format called The Weekender, where we'll cover some of the stories and games from the midweek and discuss key talking points ahead to the weekend. It'll be a mix of football and FPL. Episode 1 will be this coming Friday.

As we move into September you can also expect to see David on some of our other Podcasts too.

There will also still be opportunities for other Patrons to guest on the Podcast. Of that there is no doubt. But we felt we needed a new regular face on the team, and we're delighted to welcome David to it.
