Happy 2020 Summer Holidays!

As we reach the mid-point of summer in the Northern Hemisphere, many of us are trying to make the best of a crazy 2020 with the global COVID-19 pandemic. It hasn't stopped us from enjoying the weather and spending time with friends and family, albeit with a bit of physical distance involved!

With that, I'm pleased to announce our 2020 Summer fundraising post, and the winner of our 2020 Summer Patreon banner contest; congratulations worf for an excellent banner!
We hope that everyone makes the most of this summer, just as Kousaka Honoka and Yazawa Niko are managing to do here during natsumatsuri (summer festival)!

This time, AniDB was able to hold out for just over 7 months from our last fundraising post in January 2020. This was all made possible thanks to the continued support of everyone here at AniDB.
This marks just over 2.5 years since AniDB became fully community funded. We thank you for keeping us alive, and hope you continue to support us for years to come!

Anyone subscribed to our Patreon campaign before this post should be charged on 01-Sep-2020 for your contribution to AniDB. We try hard to be as frugal as possible with your assistance, and try to avoid any build-up of excess outside of our set emergency fund. Because of this, our next fundraising post will likely not need to be until next 2021 Winter (2021 Valentine's Day) or Spring (2021 March/April). Refer to our Donations page for details.
