What should Frigidhill be constructed out of?

Barren as the Lonely Frost is, there are some interesting materials here for us to build above-ground structures out of. If we should manage to secure the surface, what should the fort be built from?

A. Earthenware Bricks

The plateau is absolutely covered in blood-red clay. It would be a shame to let it all go to waste! Brick walls would look quite striking against the snow. We have so much clay here that we could build a large structure relatively quickly using bricks.

B. Metal

This area is rich in metals. We've found ores of Copper, Silver, and even large amounts of gold further down. Without easy access to trees it may be slow to smelt the ore and forge it into building materials, so this option may be somewhat slow-going. If this option wins, there may be a second poll to decide which combination of metals will make up the bulk of the fortress.

C. Ice

This would be a MASSIVE pain in the ass. It's difficult to convey just how much trouble we would have to go to in order to make this work. We'd need to slowly send water to the surface via buckets or pumps, dig out the ice painstakingly slowly, and slowly drag the uncarved, raw ice to build a structure out of it. All of this while being harried by undead monsters. The dwarves and humans beg you - do not choose this option.

D. Stone

What the hell are you talking about? We're dwarves. We build our structures out of rock and stone. There's massive amounts of rock below the surface just waiting to be carved and built with. This is the most efficient choice by far. No need to bake bricks, smelt ore, or freeze water. This will allow us to build a large structure much more quickly than any of the other options. If this option wins, there may be a second poll to decide which types of stone will make up the bulk of the fortress.
