I was working non-stop for almost two days, improving The Medium trainer even further mostly following a report from a 48:9 user on its split screen FOV issues at that aspect ratio. One interesting finding was that one of the split-screen inactive scene effects simply multiplied the current FOV by 1.25, which meant that the wider the resolution, the worse it got, to the point of the image being upside down at 48:9 due to the Unreal Engine 4 maximum FOV limitations (pictured). It was a consequence of the need to severely compensate for the game's native vert- scaling, naturally increasing with more width.
A few versions later and after a bit of testing, the user reported that the current version is the best version of the trainer to date. I really hope so!
In other news, doing further research for my coverage of Werewolf Earthblood for PCGamingWiki, I was already on the official Discord server and thought to check ResetEra for potential bug reports and solutions. Surprisingly enough, the very first thread contained a link to my trainer. The default FOV of the game was also a complaint of one of the critic reviews found on Metacritic. It's good to know that the tool is finding its use despite its relatively low popularity so far.
