Kindle is very jealous of what it gets, and doesn't like sharing one bit. So please prepare as you see fit for most chapters up to 262 to vanish, and thank you all for your support. It's thanks to you guys that Kindle would be interested in getting my story in the first place :)

If the words you left on the internet aren't the same as what's in the book, or aren't a replacement (i.e. you left a summary lying around), Kindle doesn't care. Kindle MIGHT care about pirated copies, but those are ultimately outside your control, and therefore Kindle can't really do much, outside requesting you to issue a DMCA takedown whenever you come across pirated copies of your work (if they don't do that themselves). Now, what I don't like is the anti-competitive nature of requiring you to stub what's in the Patreon, even if it costs the same or more as what's on Kindle, but that's something you can take up with the FTC if you want. Note that I'm assuming a lot about the Kindle terms and conditions in that last sentence -- I don't actually know what's in there.
