Is the past week the biggest in terms of the number of anticipated games released? It surely feels like it. First we had Scorn, then A Plague Tale: Requiem, then Uncharted. The week wasn't over when Persona 5 Royal, New Tales from the Borderlands and Gotham Knights all released on the same day.

As you know, I tried to do my best in going after those games but there is only so much I can do and purchase without taking a hit. The donations that immediately follow a fix, if present, rarely cover the full cost of a AAA game. This page and your support are more reliable but also have limits, as you can imagine. I'm probably repeating myself though, as I said about as much yesterday!

I saw the many requests for a fix for Gotham Knights and that the other active modders of WSGF did not own the game either - likely from the very saturated week as well. The Steam forums and reddit discussions lacked any solutions reported as viable.

That's what brought me to the subject of the previous post, which turned out to be a successful crowdfund and the driving force behind this particular fix. Lately I've been dealing with some bad actors, with some of the instances documented on this very page, though today is not their day but that of the great. It also goes for all of you who kindly support me month after month, and not just for a single occasion or a game fix.

As soon as I had the game funded, I rushed to get it and begin to investigate. To my total surprise, the path to the solution was quite straight. It didn't take me long to address the black bars and get to running around to test at various resolutions. Perhaps not as thoroughly as I'd like, but I felt the players' desperation, so I made sure to release the fix very quickly too.
