8 years waiting to reunite with your lover is a long time... Who could blame Amicus for indulging in those little comforts?
“Don’t turn back,” Amicus thought to himself as he climbed out through the window of the apartment. “Don’t run back.”
Every step was a battle of will as he left his human back in the room he’d first found him only a year ago. For better and for worst, it had easily been the longest year of Amicus’ life. And his human made up just about everything that was good that in that year. Now he was going to have to face ruling an empire for eight years without him. With the wetness of his tears still fresh on his face, Amicus rubbed the ring on his finger as he entered his ship, and left Earths atmosphere.
Com made some noise Amicus didn’t care to register. Every part of him was screaming that this was a mistake. Well, almost every part of him.
Warbling unhappily, Amicus’ belly made its bemusement about the fact the wolf emperor hadn’t eaten in hours very apparent. Looking down at it, he sighed. Amicus had always been big, burly with all the strength and size expected by his peoples culture for their all but predetermined ruler. Yes, he’d always had a bit of a belly, but it was easily overlooked by the sheer amount of muscle everywhere else. But his human changed that… Just as he did to just about everything else in Amicus’ life.
“Relationship weight.” Amicus huffed to himself, a sound somewhere between a laugh and a sob. That was what his human said to comfort him when Amicus, blissfully ignorant to all the weight he’d been gaining up to that point, had popped the button of his pants during lunch on one of his few days off.
Reaching down to pat his belly, Amicus began massaging his plump middle the same way his human had, following the interconnected circles that made Earths own symbol for infinity. It was like an unspoken promise, every morning the two cuddled in bed, or when Amicus began thretting over the amount of chub he had spilling out from his midsection.
Amicus was tearing up again, but he couldn’t help but feel as if his human was there. Closing his eyes, the wolf could even feel his lover leaning over his shoulder, pressing his lips to Amicus’ cheek as he squeezed the roll of fat earthlings called ‘love handles’.
Amicus’ belly growled again, clearly not satisfied by its deep massage as it practically bounced itself, demanding to have its hunger satisfied.
“Fuck it all…” Amicus groaned, setting the ship to autopilot before pulling himself out of the pilots seat with a groan. Him and Marco never got around to eating all the food they’d brought to nibble on during their trip back to earth, and Amicus was in a sour enough mood to eat for two.
…
“Com!” Amicus called sluggishly as he leaned back in his chair, causing the seat to whine and shudder under his weight. “Bring me another round!”
The com system rattled on something Amicus didn’t care to hear before dutifully taking the platter Amicus had cleared away on a drone to be restocked with another helping of food. Stifling a belch, Amicus looked off onto the island from his seat on the balcony as he waited for his fifth course to arrive. About two years had passed, and the sore spot that was his humans absence stung no less. If anything, it only worsened with each passing day. Senators, diplomats, the parents, just about anyone with access to the emperor found a way to make each day stretch out as long as it possibly could. Hence, his own clever rebellion.
The constant eating had started as a means of coping with the loss of his lover, Amicus could admit that. But over time, he began to realize how much he was starting to enjoy being fat. Rotund. Immense. Not even the best pugnu wrestlers could push him out of the ring now that he weighed about double of what he had back on the day he dropped his human off. None of them expected it either, giving Amicus a sweet sense of satisfaction when he saw the look of surprise when Adastras royal doughball proved to be utterly immovable in the ring. And with the emperor outgrowing his clothes every couple weeks, the senators were forced to keep their complaints brief and to the point when they messaged him through the screens.
Neferu had welcomed himself to teasing Amicus whenever they crossed paths in the now tight halls of the palace, but Amicus could always just throw his weight around if the jackal ever pushed his luck too far. Sitting on the Khemian would certainly shut him up. Amicus wondered if his human would like the sight of that too.
His human. That was the one part of this Amicus couldn’t help but feel some doubts about. He loved him still when he was chubby, but would that still hold true now that all signs of muscle have been buried under a solid foot of blubber?
The drone returned, the buzzing of its flying apparatus breaking Amicus out of his daze. Wordlessly he leaned forward, his belly forcing his tree trunk thighs apart as he shimmied his way to the front of his seat to eat. Every movement sent ripples across his body like a stone skipped across the water, making his tail wag a little as the shaking spread from his belly and moobs to his neck fat and cheeks. He was massive, easily the biggest, softest wolf of all of Adastra. And he would only get bigger.
The thought ran through his head like a comet in orbit, the constant growth going from diabolical to lustful at the thought of how big he’d be when his human returned. How massive he’s become, just for him, to be the softest, most comfortable bed this planet-no, the galaxy had to offer.
The chair rattled as Amicus began stuffing his face ravenously, rolling pizzas into oversized wraps to stuff them down his throat whole. He may well become immobile with the rate he’s going, confined to his room with all the fat pouring out from his body. So be it. As emperor, no one could stop him so long as his personal choices don’t affect his duties. And seeing as the Parents hadn’t raised so much as a peep about his weight, there was nothing stopping him from eating and growing as much as he damn well wanted.
Finishing his meal with a groan, Amicus rested his hands on his stuffed belly as he leaned back again. Licking his lips clean of the grease as he began rubbing the sides of his belly, now too fat to reach those certain spots his lover always loved to fondle.
“There’s no going back…” Amicus mused, closing his eyes as he spoke to his human, still lightyears away but somehow right there beside him. “And knowing how much you’ll love this when you return, I don’t think I’ll ever want to.”
Feeling a pocket of air start to climb up his chest, Amicus grunts, squeezing his belly from both sides as he lets his promise come roaring out, its echoes most certainly reaching that blue marble on the opposite end of infinity.
