Upcoming content + fast internet

Dear Patrons,

Just a quick update video on some upcoming content. I know two of these have been discussed here and I imagine the kay3d coreXY kit will be of great interest too.

I am really excited by my new internet connection. My upload speed has been 0.8 Mbits, which means 5-6 hours upload time overnight. Sometimes the upload doesn't finish in time and it really ruin my schedule. I should be able to get videos up in 10-15 minutes. This video uploaded in about 30 seconds.

A first world problem but it's nice to have glimmers of joy in these crazy times. I hope you are all staying safe and making the most of any opportunities that might come your way being at home. If you are not at home and out serving the community, you have my gratitude.

Michael

I have been pretty spoiled as I had Ting Gigabit Fiber at my house. The connection was 900+ MB both directions making uploads and downloads super fast. However, I recently moved out to a more rural area and now have a 100MB DSL connection. Fast internet is always a good thing. I have enjoyed watching your videos to the point I just purchased a Creality Ender 3 based off your reviews/upgrades. It will join my stable of a Tevo Tarantula, Prusa i3 MK2 clone (Thomas Sanladerer Dolly Build), Anet A8, and Prusa i3 MK3S clone.

That is a video idea I am interested in, I just need the right printer with easy change nozzles. I have two printers in mind after some tweaks.

Has anyone ever done a tolerance test on nozzle diameters? I'm curious if having the exact dimension in the slicer would benefit print quality. Just food for thought. Stay Healthy and keep the videos coming. YouTube is saving humanity from Hysterical Boredom and I am very grateful.

G'day Michael,

Yay! Looking forward to your review. The Kay3d Marlin firmware (and Facebook support group) has been a delight.

I picked up the Anycubic washer by recommendation from one on the discourse. It worked remarkably well before I put everything on hiatus. What really sold it was the all in one set up. I was using my wife’s rock tumbler, which runs 24/7, to set my alcohol wash bottles on as it creates a great constant vibration. Then I transfer the part into a picket with a solar powered turn table and Uv leds. It’s a bulky set up, but it works. The Anycubic washer replaced all that, and opened up a TON of space in my print space. If/when business picks back up I can see using it constantly.
