Teaching Tech x Mighty Car Mods

Dear Patrons,

I'm writing to give notice that the Partner's Hangout 1 for November will be moved from the 3rd to the 10th, because I will be out most of this week assisting on a build for Mighty Car Mods.

My task is to help with a James Bond style 80s computer interface in car that triggers cliches like smoke screens and oil slicks. I have written some code using processing.org that mimics a black and green 80s console, and all graphics are display line by line in ASCII characters.

The nice thing about Processing is that it integrates directly with Arduino. As in flash a sketch once to the Arduino, and then read and write to the IO pins directly from the Processing sketch. I will do a tutorial video after the MCM feature is released.

My part is only small in the scheme of the entire MCM project. I will probably only be in their build video for a little bit but the project is cool and I'm a big fan of the channel so the opportunity is too good to miss.

I hope you are all well, especially to my US friends who have braved what appears from the outside to be a crazy election period on top of the pandemic.
