The Unfortunate Update

Hello Sampleville Citizens,

It is with both deep regret and great hope that I write this update post. 

This community has supported and fueled our creativity for years. It has given us incredible opportunities and chances for us to grow in both our arts and our lives. You all have allowed Andy and I to be artists in a small bubble of the world. 

And with that opportunity, we have the hope and dream of expanding that bubble. We want to grow beyond “Just fetish artists” and into something more. Something that can tell deep and meaningful stories. Something that contains compelling and complex characters. Something to keep our readers immersed and in suspense with each chapter. And something that is uniquely OURS.

But I regret to say that Andy and I are having difficulty agreeing on what that Something looks like. And with that regret we think the best course of action is to delay the release of that Something until it is truly ready. 

So. We will NOT be launching our new comic in January. We will unfortunately need to push the launch back until we are both happy with the direction the story is taking. 

What does this look like for you patrons? Well not much will change from what you know. We have the suspenseful conclusion of Fantasy Island 2 on the books, and another Spider-focused comic ready to go after that. So you get to enjoy that at a regular posting pace while we write, rewrite, draft, redraft, debate, discuss, and prepare what the future of Sample-Art Comics looks like. However, we DO want to implement some of the changes to the tiers that we had previously announced. 

So the TLDR for those who need it.

-The new project will NOT launch in January. It will be delayed until we come to agreements.

-The tier changes will PARTIALLY launch in January. The 1$ tier will be retired, and the names will change to the upcoming format. 

-Andy and I are taking an undetermined amount of time to figure out the future of our projects.

We know this will have an impact on your patronage, but we want to get this right before rushing into a whole new world. We are deeply grateful for the support you all have given us so far in this journey. We hope to have a better and more clear update soon. 

We appreciate all of your patience, as we get what we believe to be our best future ready.
