From what I can tell online (after beating a boss I like to mooch around forums etc and see what the general consensus is), opinion varies quite wildly on the design of this boss! Some folks don't like it, but for me it really worked. I loved deflecting that gigantic overhead red attack, it feels amazing, and the bespoke visceral animation was delicious. Not an enemy with much personality of course (although theories abound as to the importance of the creature in the game's deeper lore), but don't worry - as I write this I'm just editing next week's episode and there's plenty of personality coming O_o
