The Sims 4 Update 1.115 - Indoor Weather, Save Files and Other Issues...

Hello! Long time no see! Long comments below, the core of this posting is to let you know we have a Laundry List for the next update! Feel free to read or not what's below or just click on the link to be taken to my page where it's all listed. 🙂

I have been watching the Sims scene for a while, quietly, and I chose not to post most of it because it sounded more like noise than the valuable insightful information you'd likely prefer to have here (sometimes I can bring a little bit of variety but I try my best to space that a bit, even if I release a bunch of items at once, then go quiet again).

Rumor has it (yes, speculation, can't avoid it, at least the core of it) our next DLC will be an Expansion Pack that's likely related to Fairies or something similar.

Rumor also has it (English is my second language, that expression sounds fluent but quite odd to me LOL) that EA is looking into possibly bringing CARS to the game. It's ironic they say it would not make sense because we can't drive them or whatever, but how can a proper 21th century architecture simulator do without garages, garage doors, items, car dummies, at least. Of course, the CC Community does a great job surrounding it but the game should have it addressed now, as they are clearly stating they intend to keep Sims 4 going for much longer, with or without another rebranding. I think that's a plus, to be honest, considering they love to oversimplify things when a new version of the game comes around. The fact they didn't re-release Sims 3 gave me a positive feeling we might, even if remotely, get new content produced for it, meaning they'd not want to repack the entire thing as a single collection, but just resume development for it?

I am partial to Sims 3, everybody that follows me for a long time knows it's my favorite by far. Can you imagine if they added basic things like skins (in the sense of those we get in Minecraft, where you can change how everything looks), add dynamic lighting and high resolution textures? I am a bit broke right now but something like that would make me feel like starting to save to buy a new graphics card to replace my GTX 1080 from the past decade, give me a year and a half and I think I can afford something newer 😁
