Little (8/24)

Hey, everyone! It's 2:45 am and I need to bed, but expect a longer update (with more pictures!) tomorrow. I've been reverse-engineering some of our programmer's custom code (in this case, the code that tells the game which scenes/locations are available on the world map at any given time) as he's been swamped with work and isn't readily available. His code is fine, I just needed to learn a little more about how it worked. Here, I needed all of the labels except for "Home Base" to disappear (as chronologically, those scenes have already passed). I think I've finally figured it out! I'll test it out in the morning.

Long story short is the little one's still messing with my time, but I've still been making progress and there's stuff to show! Like with the Forks demo, lots of little things have cropped up as I try to push this into a proper public demo. I'll go into all this and more tomorrow (or, I guess, later today!)

Things are leveling off and life's starting to give me more time, so I'll have good news to share soon! I'm really excited, these past couple of months have been ROUGH. Both for my psyche, and for your patience. I want to thank everyone that's stuck through the wait (or just joined up now, hi ^_^!), I'm feeling confident that I'll soon be returning to the guaranteed 1 update per week (or better, I'd like to do even better). 

As you can see, we've got more characters to introduce as well (click the image to see everyone's name). Baby's been keeping me quiet on the public channels, but that's finally improving and we've never stopped working behind the scenes!

Ooh, and one last thing! I understand I've been quiet for an entire month, and I set up the page's funding with that in mind. If anyone feels they have not received their money's worth for the month (and I understand 0_0), please feel free to unsubscribe before funds are collected (at the end of the month) and resubscribe once the next month starts. Someday, once more work is done and I can guarantee more steady progress, I'll charge upfront. Until then, I want to stay as flexible as possible with your support. I'll be sure to give ample notice whenever I decide to charge upfront in the future, but I don't think it'll be happening this year.
