commenting so late lol, but going through an MCU rewatch of my own and wanted to "watch along" with yall. I think Caps "origin story" works so much better with context, how he is such a soldier but then in Winter Soldier is having to break his blind trust in the institutions he follows and in Civil War actually denying his orders to do what was best. So yes his origin story is at the time a lot more lame because it is so black and white then for him as he's fighting nazis, but as he lives in the modern world everything is much more grey, and in turn so are his "set in stone" morals now that it's much harder to tell who the bad guys really are
