House of Horrors- Horror Movies For Beginners
Added 2023-05-10 11:01:00 +0000 UTCHorror newbies rejoice! Sydney and I have carefully selected 5 movies each that we feel are great ways to ease yourself into the horror genre. We also discussed some movies we think you SHOULD NOT watch if you are looking to explore the genre (Evil Dead 2013, Saw).
But as we were discussing, we had this realization that its possible some of the movies we chose are still...slightly scary...so let us know what you think!!
Poll will go up later next week to choose one of the movies to a full deep dive on!

i’m listening to earlier episodes and it’s so funny that you both said beginners should NOT watch evil dead 2013 bc i watched that w my 13-year-old sister without having seen it beforehand and i’m pretty sure i traumatized her

2024-10-08 23:19:33 +0000 UTCI looooove You’re Next but I do think it’s a little too gory for a beginner. I’d probably put that in an intermediate tier. I think a great limited series for a beginner is The Haunting of Hill House! Beautiful story to sandwich any jumpscares or scarier themes
