After our unpacking of Elemental, we placed the last 10 Pixar movies into a tierlist! Some obvious S tiers...some maybe obvious F tiers?

2025 riss roomie here responding to 2023 landlords (lol) thoughts on the fact that Elio has also gotten a pretty lackluster marketing run? I agree elemental got such a low promo and im worried for Elio 😥😥 im super excited and hope it gets a bigger push as we get closer

2025-05-07 12:15:36 +0000 UTCok listening/commenting late bc i like to wait until i actually watch the movies of each ep and i FINALLY just watched elemental a few days ago on disney+. was i the only person expecting a villain/antagonist to appear in this movie? i thought FOR SURE the reason the flood was happening is bc someone (any other “element”) wanted to sabotage firetown…? something along the lines of environmental racism/xenophobia. it’s such a weak plot point imo if it’s just some random water leaks into the pipes when the movie is about the immigrant experience and the hardships these families endure (maybe i’m over thinking it idk it’s not that deep)
