Weekly Update- 08/29/2023

Good afternoon Roomies!

Sorry for the delayed weekly update, but here are some quick updates!

• Stickers- will be sending second wave out 2nd week of September. If you never received, yours, please DM us on Discord or Patreon and we can add you to a list to ensure you're in the second wave. 
• Cinephile Giveaway- it is the last week of August which means its time for the 2nd giveaway for Cinephiles. Wheel will be spun on Friday morning, anyone signed up as a Cinephile by August 31st at 11:59pm will be considered. Winner will be gifted a Criterion blu-ray!
• September Horror Theme- John Carpenter! The movies we will be reviewing: The Thing, Christine, In the Mouth of Madness!!
• This week's episodes- the heat has returned in FULL force. Unfortunately that has delayed our House of Anime episode for a week. We will have a House of Horrors episode, but its a surprise :)
• Mystery Episodes- speaking of which, we are looking to drop 1-2 mystery episodes a month exclusively for Roomies. It could be anything! Old movies, new movies, drafts, or something else! 
• Weekly News episodes- if y'all are still enjoying them, we will keep doing them! Thank you so much for liking posts because it really helps us gauge interest!
• Merch- we are in the process of brainstorming merch. If you know any talented artists to help us design stuff, feel free to send us their info! We are trying to launch merch when we hit closer to 250ish patrons. 
• Intro music- do we need it? I realized its been awhile since we've had any intro or outro music, but we are looking to Roomies for the feedback. 
• Archive episodes- by the end of September, we are likely going to Archive about 50% of our episodes. Archive episodes will only be available to Patrons. Why? Simply because the podcast has changed so much since its beginnings 2-3 years ago. If someone checks out our podcast for the first time, I want them to be listening to the newest generation of HoC podcast.
