Somehow I was able to guess a lot of those trivia questions, so I nailed a good portion of them. My ex-wife's Father was obsessed with darts, and we played all the time. Alright, it's time for me to take a Bullshit Concept made by TJ & round it out. This was a great idea, but TJ's buffoonery made this one of the worst episodes of the series. I hope that those who aren't blind by his celebrity status can read this and find more truth than what TJ stated. So let's begin. FYI: I did want to state before-hand that I enjoy Paul overall & find him to be the most relatable out of the whole cast (TJ is obviously the worst). But I won't be judging just by personal preference. If that was True, Senior Tomat would be the greatest Pessimist of them all (JK fanboys). So let's explore this topic in an honest, non Jolly way. Who's Hungrier- This is the dumbest topic of them all. So i'm going to twist the meaning to make it about Curiosity, or who's hungrier for knowledge. Both Scotty & Paul are always looking for answers yet have an issue when it comes to broadening their world-views. They both already assume they are correct, and it takes a lot to convince them otherwise. I often (in a lovingly way) call Pessimist Productions as a whole the Pompous Trio Of Opinions. But I also feel like Scotty & Paul are different in their natures. Scotty is far more Matter-Of-Fact than the other two & sticks to his principals/worldview far more than anybody else on the show. But he is also far less of a Showman with those Opinions. You can say that Scotty thinks far more about his opinions on subjects and comes to his worldview more rationally than the other three. And if I had to pick the most Rational Pessimist out of this Trio. But Rationality & Curiosity rarely if ever mix together, and I think the answer to this question is obvious by this point. Paul is not only the most Curious out of the Pessimists, but he has a Curiosity Streak that is far more prevalent in this regard than 90% of Youtubers. Paul is always thinking of new ways to solve problems. Paul always thinks about the What If scenarios of the World. He's able to come up with interesting ideas off the top of his head & always looks at every issue (even those he doesn't agree with) with a Full Concept of what he's critiquing. I'm not trying to kiss Paul's Balls, and I will be critiquing him later on, but in this regard Paul is one of a kind. His Curiosity is the Secret Weapon for his talent, and because of that Paul wins this category. WINNER: PAUL NEXT CATEGORY: Who's Smarter This next topic is hard to decipher since both of them are very intelligent in different ways. So I will be deciding this topic by who I'd prefer to solve a solution. I might be wrong, and this might be the wrong way to explore intelligence, but we gotta be quick (at least it's better than shoving random trivia questions). Scotty (as already stated) is far more Matter Of Fact. Because of this, I also feel like he is the most Logical out of the Entire Cast. The Trio acts like different parts of a Sentence whenever they explore topics. And Scotty's best moments comes by adding the logical conclusion to an explored topic. In other words he is the Period at the end of a Sentence. He is also (at least from the performance end) the least emotional with his conclusions out of the Trio. He gets angry, sure. But he isn't generally angry because of his place, rather the unfair treatment he explores as an intellect. Now let's look at Paul. He is obviously more Socially Intelligent than Scotty (insert Autism joke here). As a Sociologist Paul is able to analyze human behavior, and come up with clever observations the same way Bill Hicks/George Carlin would. Paul is also far more Emotionally Intelligent (admittedly that's not a high bar though). I won't include Curiosity in this point, since that was already explored. But one other way that Paul is more intelligent is how he persuades those that listen to him. You can understand the reason Paul comes to his conclusions better than you can with Scotty. This is a very hard category, but my decision comes down to this. While Paul has more admirable senses of Intelligence, he does also have more foolishness towards him than Scotty Does (although nobody's a bigger Fool than TJ). Scotty's only bad sense of Intelligence (from my point of view) is his lack of bedside manner. And If I had to pick somebody to Solve a Problem, I would pick Scotty, even if he wouldn't be as engaging as Paul while solving that problem. WINNER: SCOTTY QUESTION: Who's The Better Ass-Kisser The Answer to this question comes down to who reveres TJ the most. And the answer is obvious because neither Scotty or Paul can win. No matter how much anybody tries, nobody can kiss TJ's Ass more than TJ himself. And because of that, he's blind to the idea of who actually genuinely finds him compelling. He just wants praise, not genuine complements for his achievements. And because of that, this topic cannot be truthfully explored. Therefore, nobody can win. WINNER: NOBODY TOPIC: Whos' Funnier (I can't work on the Oratory Question, Obviously). The Answer to this Question is also obvious. There was a clear reason why I compared Paul to Carlin/Hicks. Out of anybody on Youtube, I can't think of anybody who carries the Psychological Examination of Mankind better than Paulsego. So to be fair to Scotty, I'm going to examine why he is also hilarious, even if it doesn't compare to Paul. Scotty is funny at Roasting those he hates. I don't like bringing up DP, but in this instance it needs to be brought up. Scotty was always great at defeating those who made themselves look ridiculous. The Period at the End Of The Sentence Principal applied incredibly well on that show, and his highlights as a performer was felt the greatest on that show. Right Now, he does a better Job roasting TJ than I ever could. And his way of laughing at things that are ridiculous makes it abundantly apparent when somebody has absolutely failed. As great as these attributes are though, he just can't compare. Paul isn't only the funniest Pessimist, but he is the funniest famous person on Youtube. He stands above Ethan from H3, Rich Evans from Red Letter Media, The Nostalgia Critic, Billy The Fridge & even stands above the almighty comedic talent known as Thought Slime (that last one is a joke, he's the least funny Youtuber I've ever seen). Nobody has made me laugh more than Paul. And while it is Anecdotal, I can safely say that Paul has made everybody laugh at least once. Scotty can't state the same, even if he is really good at what he does. WINNER: PAUL Every other topic in the video sucks, so I will make up the last topic myself. TOPIC: Who is More Talented Overall? Unfortunately this entire post is one sided. But let's explore why I don't think Scotty is the Winner of this topic or this entire post. Scotty is very good when he has something to point at and mock. He excels when it comes to bringing people down & cutting off what he deems to be inferior. He is great at cutting you off at your knees and making sure everybody laughs at your misery. He is the Bully without the Punch, and it's glorious to see it in action. But Paul is able to do everything that Scotty does, and he's also able to expand himself as a performer in a way that Scotty never could. Paul is an exceptional talent, and while he has some major flaws (as everybody does) he is always compelling to listen to. He never bores you & always finds a way to make himself the center of whatever topic he explores. Paul is a one of a kind talent who has turned me, somebody who passively watched DP on the side into a Fanboy who has paid $10 a Month for almost two years now. He is one of those men who can go onto any YT Channel and elevate the talent around it. He made DP, he is making DFF & I will continue to watch his Journey for as long as he wants to stay in the Public Lime-Light. While some of you might find this hyperbolic, I think we all like to Mock Paul because we know he is the Real Deal. So because of that, the winner of this entire thing is- WINNER: PAUL Congratulations to Paulsego for winning my Tournament as well. I hope this was far more fair than TJ's Bracket. My Final Message to Scotty is that, while he lost, he is an integral Voice that stands out from the other two. He is necessary for the show, and his insight helps the show move along. Also, I wanted to make it clear that I really love watching TJ as well. Although, he is much more engaging in his own Videos than he ever was on one of these Podcasts.
