I think you really gotta be careful how you frame this stuff, especially when it comes to the founding fathers. I wouldn't say most Americans (even those on the left) aren't ready to hear that their dead founding daddy's are actually assholes, and hey man that's great, shove it in their face but maybe it's best to address other more wide sweeping issues that ordinary people can obviously agree on. Once you get those people on board than I think it'd be safer to start making statements like this video.

They should replace the confederate statues with Corpse Midget statues.

If you faggots are saying this seriously, you are gonna lose patrons including me. Saying "no loss" or "wont be missed" is great and all, but its money out your pocket

What if the people who personally decide to "let themselves go" into a group are a majority? A majority to the extent that it becomes materialistically unfavorable for those unwilling to lose their identity to the social hierarchy. Do you think that this type of pervasive, and seemingly default, mentality to conform arises since it's effectively a fail-safe from being at the very bottom of a hierarchy?

that's a badass video cover

I immediately thought.....ok well then we need to invest millions in statues of Trump and all the GOP with 2 cm dicks and tiny hands.

Great Video Mr. Kirk. I think there is a general idea we can all agree upon where people use the Veneration of the past in order to stop Progress In The Future. Religions have been doing this for centuries, but it also exists in other forms of Hierarchy. The mindset a lot of these Social Defenders (my name for Republican) use is one where everybody must sacrifice their personal needs & desires towards the ideals of the perceived society. These Founding Fathers (for as intelligent as they might have been) are seen in the same light Jesus Christ is for practicing christians. I Sacrifice myself towards the Society I live in, and it repays me with rewards brought on by the founders wisdom. The Big Question becomes how do we stop this kind of mindset. Humanity (from my perspective at least) has always had a massive problem with looking for leaders to solve their problems. Maybe it comes from our way of being raised (with us having to look up at a father/mother figure instead of figuring life out ourselves). It might also have to do with Humanities lust for control and order in an uncontrollable universe. I don't know what the exact problem is, but I have a few solutions (if one is interested). First, we have to create societies that allow children to explore who they genuinely are. I think it's fair to state that growing up in the Modern World is basically Social Engineering in disguise. Education especially is nothing more than a Social Vetting Process. We are all taught at a young age to Sacrifice oneself rather than Explore oneself. I think if the mindset of raising children was "This Kid has an Identity and we have to create a world where that Identity can Flourish" instead of "These Kids must follow the rules", we would have more independently minded Adults. Modern Conservatism/Fascism is nothing more than Grown Adults wanting a Daddy to follow. Another thing we can do is go after this idea I call "The Comfort Complex". What this basically means is humanity desires Comfort above all else, therefore anything that attacks it is seen as a threat. It's another example of our Animal Natures coming back to haunt us. One way we can tackle it is by incentivizing the idea of "Broader Perceptive" so that Society isn't expected to give one Comfort (they can only find it within). A Good Example of this would be to place Billboards displaying messages of Atheism in front of Churches. Or Placing a Message of The Founding Fathers Crimes underneath the Statue that venerates them. We can bring it the other way as well, placing Warning Signs of Overdosed Dead People in front of Concerts or Cons. The idea comes down to, nobody should feel so comfortable that they lose themselves and their identity to the Social Hierarchy/Moment they are a part of. That there is always a Critical Element of whatever it is they are a part of. I feel like Humanity finds Stress Release when they are able to let themselves go, which is fine and natural. But again (my opinion) this should be something one personally decides rather than Socially Conforms towards. Those are a couple ideas. Let me know if they make sense or "just shutup and enjoy the video you fucking killjoy". Anything that moves this conversation forward is a good one.

The founding fathers are guilty of a great many failings endemic of their time, but I think we can all agree that the most lasting and damning of these is Sam Adams Harvest Pumpkin Ale.
