Love how Pual fails to see the hilarity when he claims that TJ is a maddening person to argue with.

Symmetry, Paul. The European systems have symmetry.

And I'm with TJ about not wanting to compare colours unless its under the same lights. That's all colour is, an interpretation by your mind taking in images seen through your eyes affected by light. Every person probably sees it differently, there's no way to know we see the same. So you gotta make the light at lest the same to give you a chance to make it comparable.

I love how you guys are paying out the temperature measurements of Celsius compared to Fahrenheit, and you just jump to miles/kilometres just for the hell of it. I'm used to the metric being from Australia, but all good. I haven't watched the Olympics since I was a kid really, but in America when you have those Olympic swimming races or running races on, do they tell you what the equivalent of 100 metres or whatever is? In Australia, 100 metres is pretty much a football field.

Sorry Paul and Scotty, but TJ is right on this one in relation to comparing skin colours. He's not being pedantic, to compare skin colours it has to be under the same lighting, same camera, etc. When a person sees colour, it's their own individual brain interpreting light picked up through the eyes, you can't be sure any two people see the same thing through two different pair of eyes. Lighting plays a huge part, the depiction of Scotty who looks purple shows that. And what's the point of comparing it if it's not as accurate as you can make it.
Anyway, cool show, I'll go back to watching it now.

The only reason you frauds like Fahrenheit is because of the small ego boost for having a more impressive number next to your fart-o-meter. I know you all booty-belch molten lava straight from the forge but you don't need that extra boost to impress me nor the tomatinos, I love neckbeard chemical attacks straight from the source <3.

Fahrenheit is better for cooking. Easier to remember 350, 400, 425, etc. than 176.6, 204.4, and 218.3 respectively. But that's the only defense of the system that holds any water, and you're right, for virtually every other purpose, Celsius is the more streamlined system.

The talk about Celsius being a stupid way to measure temperature is quite funny coming from Americans who use Fahrenheit, where the freezing point is inexplicably 32. The only reason they think Celsius is stupid is because they grew up with Fahrenheit and that's all they know, most countries use celsius. The United States is one of only five or six countries that still use Fahrenheit. It's a dumb system of measurement if there ever was one.
