Huge flatscreen TVs do make my life better.... Not sure what the arguments you have against it. If they aren't, then go use smoke signals to get your news and entertainment, like back in the day. Oh, so you're talking about jobs that are basically "beneath you". Sorry, I didn't know I was talking with Shakespeare here. Maybe if you can't do remote work for Google yet, you have to do those jobs, just saying. You do admit that if you live in a less expensive, industrial area (usually smaller cities, not necessarily 20k, can be 200k as well) that you can actually live well with only one job. I did when I had a warehouse job like that and didn't live in LA. You didn't actually prove me wrong. The way I lived was better than most of our parents could live in LA, NY, MI or SA 50 years ago. The problem is that today a lot of the industry and warehouses went away because of stupid policies. But they are still here. You just need to move and stop thinking these jobs are "beneath you". Living on welfare is actually beneath anyone with a brain, but that's hard to explain to people.

I don't think you know what living is if you keep equating living alright to having a decent Tv and think its relatively that much cheaper in a smaller city of like 20k. The amount of people I know who live with roommates or at their parents(me included) in even my small city of 19k is astronomical. You aren't living a good modest life anywhere unless you're making 20+h/r which is a rare as fuck job in a small city and extremely competitive. Even the ones available are shitty warehouse jobs most of the time that are non-union and treat you like a fucking machine till you break down.

Anthony Mickelson

You can attain a good life with a modest job, if you don't rush to live in a big city like LA. It's like rushing to live in the best neighborhood in your city. If you can live a bit more rurally or less expensive city, you don't need 3 jobs.....And you can still live better there than your parents lived even in LA in the past. We have far superior technology. Imagine an iPhone 12 or a 60" flatscreen TV 30-40 years ago...... Not to mention the internet and how much that changed for you guys.

You don't have to be very rich to have a diverse and profitable stock portfolio, Paul....... Sites like Robinhood and eToro allow any dork to own a diverse stock portfolio these days without talking to a single human being. And nobody knows how it runs 100%. You have to read the news and inform yourself about the world constantly to succeed in the stock market.

BangoMike

You do not have to have a lot of money to succeed in the stock market. People who profit from stock or index investment do not need to influence the market, they just need the patience to follow the trends set by those who do. If you do invest, focus on doubling the money you have before investing more and do not use leverage and hold onto your positions until it meets the extremities of a price channel.

that was great guys thank you.
