I agree that there was potential for Batman and Robin to be a much better movie than it is. Arnold schwarzenegger, Michael Gough, and George Clooney have all delivered solid performance in other films, and on top of that I remember seeing this fan-made trailer years and years ago where they took like a minute and a half worth of the semi serious scenes(namely Freeze looking at his cryo-frozen wife, Bruce talking to the dying Alfred, and Batman's "friend, partner, brother, Will you help me' line to Robin), and made the movie basically look like one of the Burton films.
