WTF Happened to Family Guy = DFF #340

I don't see the fall, I see people finding jokes unfunny because every joke has been made and everything has been done. Just like people were terrified to go see The Exorcist in theaters and now because we have been desensitized, movies about demonic possession are laughable. Every show is just clinging onto parodying current events and spinning the jokes from that because that's all there is left to do but it still works. Seth did say he's tired of the show and wants it to just end but because there's still a demand for it, FG isn't going anywhere. Mila likes playing Meg though so maybe she will get her own spinoff and become the Daria type of icon where life is all about her struggle. It could definitely be it's own show.

I really only watched the first few seasons. It seems more for kids really. It's like one of those shows I can put on in the background and not have to worry about missing details.

Family guy peaked season 3-6. Was soso 7,8,9. Then its low points were really 10-14. This was a point i felt Seth stopped caring, but was also still writing. Once he stopped writing and just used his voice talents from 15-19 onward, i feel the show has found a happy medium of obviously not its peak, but far less cringey and unwatchable as its low. I still stay current with family guy, but the 10-14 seasons i almost always skip when im tired and wanna binge. Also, the absolute worst episode of Family Guy is when peter had that stupid twin grow out of his neck. God that was awful

That stuff in the latest episode with Chris running his own businesses is the closest I've come to giving up on Family Guy altogether, same as I did mid-episode somewhere in season 30 of The Simpsons.
