I guess I gotta go on record here for my favorite portrail of a gay cop in media Cpt. Holt. I am sure there are real examples of this in the NYPD that have dedicated their careers to creating awareness inside the system. Who Identify themselves as not either a cop or a gay individual but a gay cop. These people are championing the change you want in the system from the inside and instead of letting them celebrate their successes and dedication; you are ultimately rebuffing their efforts. Pride is just that. Celebrating what equality has been achieved by the community and the individuals that have influenced it. Honestly I think if the event organizers want to make it an event of exclusion against individuals who have strived to influence the system in a positive way rather then just complain about it, then the entire event should be scrapped because it no longer represents its original intentions.

2021-05-21 08:04:17 +0000 UTCThat " automated system" aspect and the fact that you have weed possession on your record is part of what makes a cop bad. A good cop would have tossed the pot and forgotten they saw it, because they're supposed to protect people, and weed is harmless.

Gay cops can't peacefully protest on a gay protest because they got a uniform on? I've had problems with police literally going through court for 4 months rn not all cops are bad. It is an automated system most cops just follow what the government has already implimented most can't do anything about it. Got pocesson of a deadly weapon, possession of marijuana, possession of control substance and resisting arrest on my sealed record. I can tell you personally not all cops are bad, out of all the ones I met only 3-4 bad cops 2 out of 3-4 only doing their jobs couldn't hold it against them, in fact A cop helped my mother out of a domestic violence situation. Nah can't agree with that opinion in specific.
