Ben came up with the show to begin with, ran the show's technical side, and got tj involved with it. It all started with Ben, so regardless of how he acted on air he deserved a good chunk of money.

It seems like there was a massive shift in everybody as soon as they moved to Seattle. Whatever started happening behind the scenes there is what ended DP. A lot of it had to do with Ben just becoming increasingly Annoying and retarded with his insanely generic statements and just overall bitchiness

Dude I totally agree.. it's actually hard for me to go back and watch old DP episodes now because say what you want about DFF, but it has WAY better chemistry than when Ben was around. He says the most generic, bland and often just plain annoying shit. Also couldn't stand how he treated Paul and TJ near the end. That's probably a big reason why it ended. Fuck ben

This is a tad bittersweet, as I loved DP. Past-tense for obvious reasons. I pop over on occasion to see how things are going for them, and I wish them well, but they really need some direction to save their show. Without you guys, it feels REALLY void of actual entertainment. They have a lot of fun on DP, but the show has no structure. I'm glad you guys are doing this, and thanks!

Ben was not at all a draw(and seemingly never tried to be, atleast from my viewing), fortunately though he had both very good chemistry with TJ and maybe Scotty and didn't back down from teasing everybody. If I were Ben I wouldn't have demanded half or whatever high amount he suggested he got from the show, I would try to really BE half the show before taking big actions and big money. Ben and Scotty were often the sideline personalities, often looking at their phones instead.
