I guess what I’m saying is, even though money is tight, my money is well spent here because of the sense of pride you display and offer. I admire how you handle negative comments and I have learned far more knowledge and perspective from you guys than from any of my professors. 2019-12-16 17:16:05 +0000 UTCHere is an Unpopular opinion (hooray)!! Cenk Uygur shouldn’t have gotten his endorsement ruined from his old blog posts. HOWEVER, I do believe that Cenk is as fake as they come when it comes to the progressive movement. To me, he is the reverse version of Dave Rubin, completely opportunistic. And while it might be good to just bite our tongue and support him because it helps the movement at large, we should be honest in the fact that he is just a social-climbing journalist wanting attention. While Cenk has apologized for his behavior, he hasn’t shown that he is really serious about what he honestly believes. A great example of this was the entire Jordan Chariton Scandal that happened in 2017 (during the height of the MeToo Movement). He and his network were all over everybody else (and with some, rightfully so). But once one of his boys was accused of doing something similar, he just fired him and never mentioned it again (from what I can see). If I were Cenk, and I wrote comments that I found troubling later in life, I would explain myself in a clear and honest way about how wrong I was & what I needed to do to get away from that mindset. But he hasn’t, and it just seems like “Saveass” from my perspective. If Cenk wanted to run, we should have all been discussing rather or not he was genuine. From my angle, absolutely not. I don’t agree with how Cenk lost his endorsement, but I’m also not crying that he did lose it.

That gave me the options of a lot of these weird classes but it also included stuff like psychology. In fact, I liked that mandatory psych class so much that I'm considering majoring in psych now. Though all those hyper-specific history classes are gross, anyone who tells you they had to pick from that selection is cherry-picking and lying out their ass.
