2022-12-05 18:46:17 +0000 UTClol If their power is an illusion then tell me why a strike hasn't happened yet? Workers need to just shut up and do their job and if they don't like it then they are free to go somewhere else.

2022-12-02 13:13:28 +0000 UTCMy dad who has worked for BNSF for 25 years, or so, told me that the strike isn't about money. It's about the quality of life that should be provided for by the company. My dad has grinded his body to dust working in the railroad. He's 47 and has had to jump off trains, has no cartilage in his ankles, watched a friend have his arms and legs run over, laid him off for a year in 2008 and made my family suffer as a result. BNSF who has made 21 billion off of his blood, literally, can't provide a basic, decent standard of life? You bet your ass if there is a strike, I'll be on the picket lines. We have the power. Their power is an illusion.

2022-12-02 03:31:06 +0000 UTCI dont disagree with the importance of the treaty of versailles in the early period of the nazis but another important factor in the rise of the nazis was that they became cozy with the interests of established business while speaking populist rhetoric. Basically they were able to get support from the traditional elites and when things seemed to be unstable for those traditional interests they helped the nazis to accumulate more power because they saw this as preferable to the possibility of union or left wing forces in society getting power.
