For decades studying the eye has led doctors to be able to detect diabetes and thyroid disease years before they're clinically diagnosed and having it shown in blood work. It's no surprise that they can tell cognitive issues when looking at the retina. "looking at eyes" really doesn't hold much weight because you can't see the retina unless you have equipment to do it.

They started out in the 1700s as a secret organization to trade banned books about liberalization and democracy and anti-theocracy stuff and then eventually expanded to give people help getting with abortions before they got disbanded and kicked out of the country. They got found out by the authorities because one of their members got struck by lightning while carrying a bag with meeting notes in it.

She lived in Alexandria, Egypt at the time of the Roman Empire. At the time, Christianity was seen as a cult. She died when a bunch of Christians attacked her because they believed her to be a witch. It is speculated that they also burned down the Library of Alexandria.

Husband knows that his wife is secretly cheating on him, he goes to bible study with her and they read a verse about killing your wife if she's unfaithful to you(I'm sure theres an applicable one) while looking her in the eyes and then he just blows her away.
