Low voter turnout helps them. Democrats being useless doesn’t change that. Voting isn’t the be all and end all but it is vital. (Which is why republicans do everything they can to stop people doing it.) it’s irresponsible to tell your audience of mostly progressives to not vote. In fact it’s fucking stupid. “I’m a labour focused leftist” democrats are more favourable towards unions and strikes than republicans are. It’s just pure feels over reals with this topic. The democrats aren’t good enough but the republicans are a death cult. They’re insane. They’re an existential threat to all life on earth.
