So can you please tell me this "Site that's probably more popular" because last I checked, that answer WAS YouTube, they're known for monopolizing the video platform. And I'll tell you what, I'll genuinely be waiting. I want you to send me the link to the video(s) when it comes out. But I'm saying now I don't care if it's "passive" or not, if you've been studying something for years I need to be convinced that you sincerely know the subject that's performed in a digestible and entertaining way. Bro, what about the feminine walk you can make a male character have? Is that what set this guy over the edge? It's a Fing scifi RPG game for Christ's sakes man. I'd understand if they were hammering it home the whole game, but they aren't. There's absolutely nothing stopping this guy from just playing the game and not having a tantrum about it. Also this guy clearly hasn't thought about how gender may be different in terms of culture and alien species and whatnot. Also the pronoun thing wasn't really an option for me, it just gave me he/him. I don't use pronouns but still whatever. It's a game. I'd recommend it so far, but I just started.

Your thoughts about a "probably more popular site" is wrong. And I thought I made it clear that I was being vague for a REASON. As I said, I don't want to give any critiques that won't be productive. You did a really good job simping, but that doesn't negate any of my criticisms.

I would like to see more PP content sometimes, too, but I don't think it's reasonable to expect multi-hour streams every time from their solo content. $7 a month is about half of the average streaming service without ads, and less than many of the meals I have these days. In other words, 23 cents a day is literally chump change. Ahh yes, the "probably more popular site" for video content. Is that one in Canada? I don't disagree that they don't seem to always take their patrons seriously, and I do wonder if perhaps they'd be able to get back up past 5000 patrons and beyond if they put more work into it. Still, I don't think whining about it is very helpful. Despite thinking you might be a little delusional, I wish you the best.

2023-09-07 18:40:28 +0000 UTCLet's break down the amount of content the Patrons get, in hours per month. Sloppy seconds totals 8 hours. The monthly gauntlet is 6 hours. Generally speaking, Highdeology, You're Wrong, and Fighting Boys are about 2 hours each, on average (this specific Highdeology was one hour, obviously). Abandon Hope tends to be anywhere from 2.5 to up to 4.5 hours, and are now going to be weekly. Patrons get the additional DFF episode on the week off. For $7 a month, you are getting over 20 hours of content, and soon to be more when TJ does weekly Abandon Hopes. You can either buy a Chipotle burrito, or get 20+ hours of content. Respectfully speaking, I think you should consider the totality of the content we get. Disrespectfully speaking, you should get a grip and perhaps find other forms of entertainment, or go outside.

It's gonna be something nobody has ever really seen before. Just waiting for things to slow down at work. I've had to come in at least 1 day on the weekend, if not work the whole weekend. My videos are actually gonna have a lot more work put into them and I'm not gonna outsource an editor. That doesn't mean I dislike their long-form meandering videos because I do. Just saying that they could all put a little extra work in. It just seems like they expect to have Patrons, and they don't feel the need to earn them.

What am I paying you people for? This Patreon is basically the price of a streaming service. I'd rather you guys just start doing sponsorships and have the Patreon be completely optional.
