(I assume, that the creature vanishes, once it has killed the last bearer of the curse.) EDIT: I also assume, that one carrier of this curse only spreads this curse to ONE other person. Otherwise this thing could really have been around since prehistoric times.

The Helm of Domination has incredible mind control abilities, as does Frostmourne - a weapon that is, for all intents and purposes, the most powerful runeblade made in Hell. It has its own intelligence, capable of shattering any weapon its comes into contact with. The purpose of the runes on these artefacts is to utterly suppress any other, and it does this with fantastic results. I don't think any amount of luck could change things for Pinhead. When it comes to Alien Queen, same deal. He can make bend others to his will to make his sandwich better, or to ruin the Alien Queen's sandwich. Even to make the judge choose his anyway.
