Eight beers deep so a few different ideas; address some, or none, or all. Y'all make me laugh either way. I trade stocks for a living, so curious about TJ's LCID holdings. Of course, only share what you'd like. But if you wanna share, what's the avg buy in price at this point? Planning to hold long term? Think $10+ will happen again? If so, what's the timeline? Talking EV's in general, there's starting to be some push back about how realistic the idea is on a mass scale. Lack of lithium being a primary problem. Also, repair costs, battery life, charging away from home pricing (sometimes more or equal to gas/diesel). I think it's possible the whole concept might be a pipedream for a decade or two or ten. Have any of you owned or driven any EV's? Gonna buy a Cyber Truck? Thoughts on the EV business model sticking around? Better battery tech/chemistry is needed it seems, and is not just around the corner anywhere I can find. Everyone is working with the same table of elements; there is no magic bullet. I think a DFF about the history of energy and storage (batteries) and its effects on civilization might be more interesting then it sounds, and you boys make anything fun.
