LEATHERFACE in the original 1974 Texas Chainsaw Massacre. . . Ed Gein was the MAIN INFLUENCE behind the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. He was also the main influence for 'Buffalo Bob' in "Silence of the Lambs" and also Norman Bates in 1960's "PSYCHO"
