You guys ever done an episode about history minus certain religions? It's obviously a pretty speculative topic, but there's things I think would be interesting for sure. Like on one hand Christianity influenced heavily on art, architecture, and documentation and there's lots of things we wouldn't have record of if it weren't for how prolific monks were in their writings. Even lots of foods were perfected by monks due to their weird role in society; the time and wealth they had access to. On the other hand, what things may have survived if it weren't for the violent conquest of Christianity? Would we have more? Would we have less? How might have Rome and the Viking populations evolved had they never encountered it? What would America be like without manifest destiny and pilgrims? How would Britain, Spain, and other major political players have behaved? Would they still be notable? Etc.
