Those people at the train station could have been waving at me if I live during this time. These films are precious and definately irreplaceable.

2022-11-07 02:08:50 +0000 UTCwhat if you did the discord channel idea where you locked everything down and used it just for that night, then kicked everybody at the end or just deleted the server? then each month for higheology you could just post the new server link and the current patreons will have access to it. and if theyre not patreons anymore, they wont have access to any future highdeology servers since its always refreshed/remade. You can also change the permission for the text/voice channel where nobody can create an invite link for it. i guess that doesnt stop the possibility the link you post to the server on patreon from being leaked, but thats a small issue with every patreon ep. i think discord would just be a great way overall to rifftrax movies together since a /lot/ of people have discord. i dont think itll cut down your audience as much as you think it might since discord can also be used in a browser. the only thing about it is that you cant record or post it since well, we'd be rifftraxing movies with copyright in them. So it would be only a live event each time.

I can imagine your experience with Amnesia The Dark Descent or Outlast 1 and 2. People would be stoked to see you play because the atmosphere of the games make the video and your reactions to the horror are the icing on the cake. No side-talk needed. Just immersion into the game. You could try a new horror title every month or something. Maybe voted on by the fans? It's at least very different than any other content Pessimist Productions is kicking out. Your horror game reactions really are great, even though you're suffering. But suffering brings views and money. Win-win? The good thing about horror is that we are waiting for the reactions to the scares. Anything you say in between is a bonus. Plus, you'd get plenty of great clips to release on tiktok or YouTube shorts. That alone could be huge for the channel.
