A quick recap of one of the things I worked really hard to change over the past year and a half! With near 100% success! My rib flare! I’m looking at you $15 tier 😊
My torso didn’t used to “feed into itself.” When I bent forward, back or sideways, the curve would not be continuous through my spine but rather ”kink” in one place so that the curve was present in only one area. This is the exact area that is now hypermobile in my spine! It is right around L4/L5 and L5/S1, whose discs are now degenervated. Imaging shows tears and bulging in both discs (imaging is also misleading and dumb).
The purple lines are bad and the green ones are good! You can see now that when I bend there is a more continuous curve in my spine. I solved this by fixing my Rib Flare and learned how to activate my previously atrophied core muscles. I had to get dry needling fed locally into the muscles to get them to “turn on.” At first it was torture but now I absolutely crave dry needling in my muscles! It is better than even high quality sex.
The bad photos were taken a year ago give or take only a couple months. In one of the bad photos I tried to make the purple line “three dimensional” to show the Rib Flare and lack of feeding torso extending into the protruding sagittal plane. Remember that this is only one Great Change. Each of you (excluding $1 club) are in a tier that represents a Great Change. I still wake up every day astounded at how alien and different I feel... as well as STRONG and STABLE. Shabowie!
