That’ll Do, Baby P
Added 2020-09-20 19:17:58 +0000 UTCI have finally skedaddled out of the Swamp once again! This time to take my last trip in Baby P. The Van Nest is still very much a work in progress, plus COVID doesn’t want her getting plates.
Spending the next three weeks on the road driving through the Midwest! My body is super fucked up so I’ll be hitting up daily Planet Fitness’ along the way.
Most showers are closed due to social distancing so I’ll be getting super duper smelly!!
Here’s a little throwback (spanning various image qualities) to some of the good (terrible?) times we’re had together. I’ve probably slept in her as many times as I’ve been naked somewhere I’m not supposed to be! That’s a lot of times. We’re gone from below sea level in Death Valley to the tops of 14ers in the San Juan National Forest. She’s seen rain, hail, mud, has been included in a herd of cows, gotten WRECKED on some other cars, stuck in god knows how many precarious situations, and broken down only slightly less times than that. Her electric parts are currently being held in connection with tin foil and I’m hoping that it stays put.
I love you Baby P! That’ll do.
PS. Those photos of a chain attached to the back + broken window are from last night! A drove over a chain on the freeway going 70 and it’s swung back and into my tiny window. I’m really lucky that it didn’t hit the big one! I couldn’t have fixed that with tape.
Posting of photo sets shall continue! Possibly at a slower pace. I have 5 or so more really special sets to work through and I’m shooting every day on my trip! A lot of tension pain I was feeling every moment in the Swamp has already melted away....

This set offers the best views of what life must be like for a traveling model, @anamichel . I jotted down so many favorites to mention, it became silly--about 22 pics. But 22, 23, 24 show great vistas in the background; 26, the Prius is under that great protective rock; 28 shows a sad P in deep muddy water, but 29, pure endurance, and 30 resting in a garden of wild shrubs--unless it plunged there in an accident?. The hills and sky at 32 show what it's all worth. The parking camps look safe enough, with great views, but I'm surprised at all the wet weather out west, even floods. #climatesurvivor
