Spinal instability includes my cervical spine which causes pain in my head and neck. I think I will revisit and re-explain my postural endeavors soon in more detail. The gist of it is that I had to change my posture in every single part of my body in order to combat degenerative disc disease. Changing the posture has been a long process and actually aggravates a ton of pain and discomfort in my muscles, nerves, and joints, and this aggravation will remain present until my body learns to exist in these new postures without effort and constant strain.
Regarding my neck, I am actually, slowly over time, changing the position & flexibility of the cervical vertebrae and the joints between to being my neck back and my head in line with the rest of my now-straight spine. This means a lot of cervical fluids moving around and the muscles on both the front and back of my neck to be tired, stiff, and sore. This causes cervicogenic headaches that presents as debilitating nausea.
For a large part of this year, my hair has been really difficult to deal with. I have almost cut it all off dozens of times. I have opted to get it trimmed and thinned a few times which has bought me more time. I’m slowly feeling better in my neck, albeit at a snails pace courtesy of 2020, and am hoping to be able to hold off for just a while longer so I can make it through to the finish line and keep my glorious lox attached to my head.
