Pain & Pleasure

Really happy to have finally bit the bullet and posted an in-depth description to IG of my chronic pain and consequential limitations and creative drivers... people like fast art on generic social platforms like this and are quick to judge. Meanwhile, I’m usually too incapacitated to fully explain myself. I prefer to half way explain myself and have everyone infer the rest— ha! Cue feelings of being misunderstood. Idk, maybe I’ll figure it out right before I die. Here’s me getting there ;)

I digress! Feel free to click through these as I rarely put an entire description all in one place; questions & comments are always welcome.

I’d also like to recap one of my main ✨L I M I T A T I O N S✨ that is important for new and old patrons to know about:

I have a very limited capacity for messaging and emails. Sitting down causes me a great deal of pain, so I do ALL of my administrative work while actively on the stairmaster at the gym, including publishing sets to patreon and answering emails. This is why I am so happy to have created a little network where I can post each singular write-up for many to see! Remember that this doesn’t mean I’m tip tapping away in private threads all day.

Can I sit? No. Can I do a handstand? Yes. Can you sit? Probably yes. Can you do a handstand? Maybe also yes but also for some of you, no! There may be a norm, but we are all different. Thank you for respecting my physical limitations!

Thanks for reading and as always I am really glad you’re here. xx Prana

#pranamachinesupport I realize my cozy privilege sitting here...something so nearly impossible to you without great pain (as bad as this overstuffed chair is for my own future lumbar; the cervical, migraines, one knee, one shoulder, would prevent any handstands here).

I am so glad you pointed this out to me, and steered me to the other platform. You know I share way too much ( especially with someone whose work is as incredible as yours ). Again, I admire your strength and toughness. And your beauty.
