Billing pause and info
Added 2023-11-28 19:02:38 +0000 UTCHeya. I paused billing now as informed. Now with the new billing method it's a bit whack how the setup on patreon is handling things.
I paused it today the 28th of Nov. The pause goes until the 28th of December, I can't pause for longer or indefinitely. I have to then log in and pause it again (I'll try to unpause in the middle of December and pause it again to see if that works).
So there is a possibility that if you for example signed up on the 28th of October, if it's unpaused again on the 28th of December, you could get charged before I pause it again. In that small window or in case I miss a day or two because I can't login and pause it in time for whatever reason.
So worst case, you get billed on that exact day. If you don't want that to happen under no circumstances at all, make sure to switch to the free membership (there should be an option somewhere) or cancel your subscription.

Oh and new peeps can't sign up in that time either while the patreon is paused. They couldn't figure that one out either I suppose. Whelp. If you're here to sign up for the Infrasound chapters, it'll be posted on RR eventually. Apologies.

You shouldn't pause at all. The Patreon model is to pay creators to live so *then* they create, not pay for the creation

2023-11-28 19:13:10 +0000 UTCHe informed us a couple of weeks ago that he won‘t continue Infrasound (it should come to a semi-decent close within the next couple of chapters, maybe the one earlier even was the intended ending). If you want all the reasons for that decision, check his post. But he doesn‘t want to charge while he isn‘t posting, so there is going to be a pause until he starts something new.
