Views from the ground at Fridays...

About work...

This week, I've been focusing on the progress of Mastermind's hentai images. I wanted to create the characters first, but the versions I made don't look as good as I'd like.

Still, I might use them in the end, because this will only be the first chapter of three, and I have time to change things like that.

As you can see, I've uploaded some sketches for the animations. They're difficult to do, and they look better in the sketch than they will when they're finished, because color has some kind of cerebral effect that slows down the movement of the images, which is why the black and white manga style has such a good movement effect.

This isn't something I came up with myself, it's straight out of Making Comics by Scott McCloud, a very good book on comic theory.

Enough about that...

I finished more pencil drawings for Mastermind and made some progress on the FFIX comic.

I'll upload the first page on Sunday and try to upload one every Sunday until it's finished.

I did some sketches of Lana for her game, but just to have something to add to the code.

From There's Nothing Out There (1991) A movie about a mutant frog from Troma, you know Troma, right?

I haven't seen this one in particular, but Troma has a lot of movies to help you switch off your brain for a while. You can expect gore, boobs, and some dark humor, that's for sure.

Aside work...

Another strange week but not bad, just strange...

I tried to find another place to live, but everything here is very expensive. I envy those people who inherit a house from their parents; it's like starting without needing the tutorial...

Anyway, I think I can afford to pay my landlord's rent for now, but I'm starting to "see the wolf's ears", although I think in English it should be “seeing the writing on the wall.”

Apart from those thoughts, the rest is more or less as usual except for my best time in the day after talk with my lovely girlfriend...

The atmosphere of this game is the best. I like how you kill monsters with relaxing music playing at times. Also, the story isn't very original, but it's mysterious enough to keep you playing.
