Suggestion Thread: Poll Themes!
Added 2025-01-17 19:39:26 +0000 UTCHey friends! Just wanted to field some suggestions for poll themes. (For example, we've previously done "Throwback Thursday" for retro characters, or "Witchy Women" which is... pretty self-explanatory!)
I'm open to anything. Give me your fun ideas!

- Trusty Steeds / Riders / Girls with Pet Companions: for this idea I'm picturing characters like Korra (rides Naga), Aloy (Horizon games), Squirrel Girl (always has Tippy-Toe with her), Jasmine (pet tiger Rajah), Kim Possible (Rufus the Naked Mole Rat), Misty, etc etc. Feels like there's something to work with there!! And a catchier way to phrase it too (the first thing that occurred to me was 'Mounted Maidens' but, well... that 100% draws the wrong connotation 🫠)

2025-01-18 00:13:15 +0000 UTC- Women in STEM/STEAM: could be enough for multiple themes here. Doctors; scientists; professors; engineers/gearheads (Winry Rockbell would count as an engineer yeah??).... i think each of those has enough that they could easily be separate polls!

But here are a few that came to mind so far: - Muscle Mommies (ofc you'd have to be in the mood to draw muscles for this one to work) - Gyarus vs. Gothics maybe? Something with gyarus sounds really fun, but I worry the pool is small. So to broaden it maybe a gyaru vs gothics would be fun, i'm picturing Misa Amane going against Aiura Mikoto etc etc. - Thieves / Cat Burglars (would work great with a 'caught' scenario) - Supernatural / Ghost Girls - Queens! Monarchs, rulers, etc - Aquatic Babes (pirates/sailors, water benders, characters with water-related powers, I feel like there's a lot there) - Scarred Stunners (Shadowheart, Maki, Mirko, Tsukuyo from Gintama.... I feel like there might actually be quite a bit to work with) - Sexy Steampunk - Scifi / Spacefarers - Tsunderes (something with tsunderes sounds interesting, just not sure how accessible it would be for patrons/audience)

If the winner is physically strong/agile character, their bindings will be insanely strict. If it's a clever character, they could be out in an elaborate trap/predicament. Ex) Olivia Armstrong (FMA: Brotherhood) Another one could be focused on nerdy, tech-savvy, or long-ranged support characters that work behind the scenes. The winner could be put in a predicament where they're sabotaged and can't warn or respond to their team. Ex) Ritsuki Akagi (NGE) or aged up Fuuka/Futaba/Mitsuru (Persona)

2025-01-17 20:06:51 +0000 UTCI think of a few: Royalty, chubby girls, characters who would be into it, snoops (think Daphne and the like) JRPG ladies, obscure characters, and maybe a few PoC themes would be nice. Maybe ones for specific holidays would be nice, like damsels show wear green for March or bunny girls for April, that kind of thing.

2025-01-17 19:58:01 +0000 UTCa handful random ideas: fox girls, alien girls, a dommes poll (been a while since weve turned the tables on gals like that hehe), princess/queens poll, tiny girls poll (i.e. fairy girls and the like), robot girls, or fire emblem girls also my personal #1 wish for a poll theme, would be lovely to have a trans girl character poll theme!! would absolutely love to see any character like that from you, especially after bridget came so close to winning the last poll hehe
