The Lost Light

Atilda Ilveltro, a gifted healer with her ability to mend the wounded and soothe the afflicted, found herself lost in an unfamiliar realm driven by her insatiable curiosity. In her wanderings, she stumbled upon an encounter that would shatter her world.

Confronted by malevolent beings whose very presence instilled terror, Atilda became the unwilling target of their violent aggression. Without warning, they struck her down, stabbing her through the chest, piercing her heart and lungs.

Blood streamed from her mouth and nose as she desperately struggled to gasp for air and utter the healing spell. However, her mana was completely depleted, leaving her powerless.

As the searing pain coursed through her body, Atilda's pleas for help echoed in the empty void, unanswered and unheard. Tragically, the healer's gift could not heal herself. Whimpering and trembling, she was left to grapple with the excruciating torment and the horrifying reality of her mortality. The poor girl was violently assaulted as her life force slipped away and her fragile form succumbed to the wound.

Yet, even in death, Atilda's eyes remained open, locked in a gaze that spoke of pain and terror. As her spirit lingered, caught between the realms of existence and the great unknown, she was trapped in an eternal state of questioning. Sorrow and terror intermingled within her, a haunting blend of emotions that kept her mind tethered to her tragic demise.

Her assailants, callous and devoid of remorse, after being relieved of their lust, discarded her lifeless body as if she were nothing more than garbage. Atilda's once vibrant presence was left abandoned, a reminder of the tragic fate that could devour even the most compassionate souls.
