wow.. Light is at an all time LOW with his lack of humanity. i've always wanted to know how far he would go, this is a question i've been asking for ages and i finally have the answer i guess!

ohh okay i see. honestly all the notebooks did get confusing and i didn't even think to remember back to when rhyuck initially gave light the book 😝but i think i'm on board with all the death notes now. and with the drawings i was mostly just being goofy bc they look so similar since the show is basically a drawing LOL i can't stop myself from stupid jokes sometimes. but i'm glad you covered it in the comment bc sometimes i do forget that he actually has to see these people. but now i get everything that’s going on haha thank you!! :))

His dad did say his name out loud and light did have death note paper on him but he couldn’t kill him because he hadn’t physically seen what mello looked like and therefore he couldn’t imagine the face of him which you need to kill someone (a drawing isn’t enough) 2. The death note the new shinigami was getting off ryuk was the one he initially gave to light (ryuk stole the death note off this shinigami it’s implied ) 3. In terms of the notebooks Misa has her original one Light had one which he stole from REM after she died, which is the one he gave back to the investigation team this episode The investigation team had what was originally lights from the start (the fake rules one ) which was stole by mello and then given back to the new shinigami at the end of this episide So the current death notes now Misa- her original death note Investigation team - REM’s (no fake rules ) Ryuk- has his death note also Now a few little extra bits of knowledge : 1.Interestingly as lights dad took the deal and died via gunfire that would mean that he was naturally days away from dying anyway and so probs had like 2 days to live and then his life span was halfed to one day. 2. When it comes to the shinigami eyes it can kill people via photographs as shown this episode, however no matter how accurate drawings or paintings or whatever aren’t enough to see someone’s name. Additionally to see someone’s name with the eyes you must be able to see at least 50% of there face so wearing a mask or partial mask would mean your name can’t be seen by the eyes , this applies to photos.
