ahhh okay okay. that's awesome! i love how the story shows a conflict of justice and morality like you said, i realized it as soon as light started using the book and i think its gonna be an interesting direction to see the character go in. also i love his name ;) super hyped for episode 2 it sounds fun!

First of all there is 37 episodes in total and whilst there isn’t officially a season 2 there’s a new opening at episode 20 so you could kinda call that the start of a second season. The main character’s name is Light Yagami (read his last name backwards for something cool ) and it’s pronounced how’d you guess. As for how he knew that bikers name his gang mentioned it as he was walking into the store. Also I like that you spotted the contrast and similarities between Ryuk and light. Justice and morality are two of the biggest themes covered in the show and also you may have picked up on the god symbolism within the opening and the focus on the red apple and the fact that at the start he is translating a bible quote in class and he then describes him self as wanting to be the god st the end. Anyway as for next episode the other main character will be introduced and the full premise of the show which you might not expect will come into play. One more thing to hint at but light will also learn how to use the rules of the death note to its full effect.
