2019-06-14 01:01:56 +0000 UTCYeah! You do also have to realise this is an adaptation of a manga and it would be impossible to get every detail from that into the show (the manga goes much more into details on certain things including the inner thoughts of charchters more!

2019-06-14 00:31:16 +0000 UTCFirst if all there was a time jump before the confrontation at the train station! Also the do you know God’s of death love apples was just teasing L! Also he had to do such a risky plan as even though they didn’t suspect him he needed to have the fact L was investigating the police become known by them (which reduced the investigation team to 5 people) and also to damage l’s relationship with the FBI and also deter the use of further groups of agents investigating or tailing him incase the threat of death. Also by having the fbi director send the file to all agents at the same time it stops any of the deaths from standing out so they are still unsure what agent was connected to whoever L is. Also bonus depressing fact but ray was horribly screwed over as because light tricked him into writing on the death note as per the rules he can never go to heaven or hell so he’s going to be stuck in purgatory or whatever and he’ll have the guilt that he basically killed all of his colleagues. Also the cctv flaw you mentioned is covered in a future episode! Many things you consider a plot hole are regularly covered in future episodes. Be prepared for ep9. It’s my joint fave episode alongside 11/24/25
