im excited to start this as well! and no i haven't seen hannibal BUT i've heard of it and i think you're right about that, it DEFINITELY seems up my alley so i'll probably get around to it eventually on patreon! horror and thrillers will always be my fav <3 and i also haven't seen that anime but ever since i started death note i've really been enjoying it and wanting to explore more anime, so i might check it out eventually :)

It's wild that I found a fellow Kaiji watcher though, haha. xD I do remember some pacing issues, and that's a valid complaint, but when Kaiji is good, Kaiji is *good*... I think Monster could be an interesting pick as well, if not for the fact that it's a series that really takes its time, even if the payout is super satisfying - Monster's one of those Classic series, like Berserk (so I've been told). The sheer emotion that Kaiji instills in the viewer is astounding though - I remember crying multiple times. I think for that reason alone I would recommend it to someone - but I do understand why someone might not, haha.

I'd be happy if any of these got selected tbh. If he ever asks for suggestions for a super psychological thriller anime, then Kaiji Ultimate Survivor is super intense.... have you ever seen it?? I totally recommend it, haha! Never has a show about gambling gotten me so invested!

I also adore thrillers and psychological horror... I mostly watch anime so I'm excited to check out something like this - I'd also prefer the Spanish subtitles!! You mentioned suggestions - have you ever watched Hannibal (the TV series)? I think it'd be right up your alley!! It's absolutely fantastic... for an anime recommendation, have you ever seen Baccano? I think you'd really like this one as well, haha! It's very unique and I'd definitely advise you to watch it with the English dub if you ever decide to watch it, because the dubbing crew simply do a great job with all the American accents and phrases from the time period it's set in, it's super cool! Anyway, I'm excited for Money Heist!!! <3
