omg thats so true though :(( i felt like i KNEW she had to be killed off because it seemed like she was catching on so quick. if she kept going like that, light would've been caught in another episode or 2. she was so interesting though it would've been cool to see her go on more :( they should've done a spin off anime show of that book!

2019-07-31 16:12:25 +0000 UTC1. There’s actually a spin off book with her as the main character and it’s basically about the case she helped L with. 2. The original writer of the manga which this anime is an adaptation of actually intended to have her join the task force and become a larger character in the story however he realised that due to her characters inteligence and the fact she knew about light meeting ray that it wouldn’t make sense and would make the story unbelievable as with that fact they should be able to easily catch light unless he wrote some really stupid reasons why they wouldn’t. So essentially she was killed off early for being too inteligent.
